Well, to help you in making comparisons...

Do a google search by address. So, for example, for Four Sails do 3301 Atlantic Ave Virginia Beach Va. When the page comes up click on the map. You will see the little picture in the balloon marked ';street view';. click on that. Very handy to get your bearings.

For ex, with Four Sails you%26#39;ll see what the parking deck looks like and the surrounding shops and ... ah, the beach.

Four Sails is rated well by visitors as you saw. And while several of those reviews on the first page are one time contributions there are many reviewers that have made multiple reviews.

It%26#39;s on the boardwalk.

There%26#39;s an indoor pool if that matters.

For other hotels, just type in a new address at google maps.

The Alamar.

Laid back, beachy, which you can see as soon as you pull it up. Unpretentious.

It%26#39;s also among the top rated by reviewers.

It is in the heart of the action.

It%26#39;s not oceanfront...but perhaps less costly.

It%26#39;s older but retro can be cool.

You might ask about their parking situation. As far as I know, it%26#39;s a good deal...lower price, fine, near the beach.

Again, good candid pix of the Belvedere. Very basic...but, hey, very basic price too.
