Old Town Steak and Seafood has the best prime rib on the planet!!!
one more option...
TruLuv%26#39;s: http://www.truluvs.com/
modern american cuisine. (540) 373-6500
Personally, I find Olde Towne Steak and Seafood very cramped. My last experience there was 2005 and there are so many good places, I wouldn%26#39;t bother with them anymore.
For downtown eating:
1. La Petite Auberge -- French restaurant that%26#39;s been there since the 80s
2. Bistro Bethem
3. Renato%26#39;s -- Italian restaurant that has been around for quite sometime
4. Poppy Hill Tuscan Kitchen -- www.ciaopoppyhill.com I love this place. They use fresh ingredients, much being organic and locally grown. They have gotten wonderful reviews.
5. Augustine%26#39;s -- toprestaurants.com/virginia/augustines.htm This one is a bit pricey.
6. Fredericks -- www.frederickstheloft.com I%26#39;ve never eaten here, but they have a popular music venue upstairs that is non-smoking
7. Castiglia%26#39;s -- Italian
8. Bangkok Cafe -- Thai cuisine
9. Brock%26#39;s -- This one is on the water
These are just some of the downtown restaurants. If you want more that aren%26#39;t right in the historic downtown area, but still Fredericksburg, let me know.
Btw, I live in Fredericksburg.
