Dinner in Arlington

Want to go to a place that is in Arlington for Dinner.

My Aunt lives there and we don%26#39;t want to drive too far.

Has anyone eaten at Kabob Palace or Ray%26#39;s the Steaks?

That is what we were thinking of doing, either or?

Be aware that they don%26#39;t take reservations at Ray%26#39;s the Steaks. You have to put your name on a list and the wait can be an hour or more.

Thanks for the heads up, any other choices?

What part of Arlington do you want to eat in?

It dose not matter, and we can go to Alexandria to The Dynasty Chinese?

Ray%26#39;s just moved and I believe they do know take reservations. Even if not, it%26#39;s a much bigger place and the waitshouldn%26#39;t be long (other than on weekends).

For other restaurants, suggest the area around the Clarendon metro stop -- lots to choose from.

Previous post talks about going on in the Clarendon area. I thought that was a good suggestion. So, here are a few (of many) options in that location.

Sette Bello (www.settebellorestaurant.com): Italian, with a nice wine list and trendy environment.

La Tasca (www.latascausa.com): Spanish tapas

Tallula (tallularestaurant.com): Truly unique, contemporary restaurant with a very extensive wine list. Has been rated one of the best establishments in the DC-Metro area.

Eventide (eventiderestaurant.com): New restaurant that serves contemporary American food.

Ri Ra (www.rira.com/index.php?id=2#/menu/): Contemporary Irish
