Carrot Tree restaurant in Yorktown

Is this place open? I called the phone number and it said the number was disconnected. If it IS closed, what%26#39;s a good place to have lunch in Yorktown - casual with good food. No chains, please. I liked the sound of the Carrot Tree because of the historic building.

Hi, I really enjoyed the Carrot Tree and I%26#39;m hoping it is still open. I checked www.carrottreekitchens.com and it said nothing about it being closed, but if the number you called said the phone was disconnected, that really makes me wonder. There is also a Carrot Tree in the Yankee Candle store in Williamsburg. And there is a menu on that same website. Let us know if you find anything else out and we will do the same. May I ask when you are going to be there? from Mary

The Yorktown location is still open. The phone number is now 757-988-1999. I just talked to someone there, and the website has not yet been updated to take the old number off. I think you%26#39;ll really enjoy it!

Now I read a little more, (should have done that in the first place.) and the address for the Yankee Candle Carrot Tree is 1782 Jamestown Rd. in Williamsburg. There is a Yankee Candle store but I didn%26#39;t think it was on Jamestown Rd. Oh, I%26#39;m so confused. Locals (or anyone), help us please!!

Zoey, to the rescue!!! yayyyy!!!

The original Carrot Tree bakery and cafe was/is on Jamestown Rd. Maybe they closed that location. I haven%26#39;t been down there in awhile. Yankee Candle is on Richmond Rd.

Thank you Zoey! Just called the new number and they are indeed open - odd that they didn%26#39;t choose the disconnected recording to say their new number.

We%26#39;re not going to CW, but the Yorktown board is kind of quiet that%26#39;s why I posted here.

note - in yorktown lunch on the patio at Nick%26#39;s offers a nice view of the river. Not fancy - burgers, etc. A great setting. Then pastry from Carrot Tree.

if you are in town on a friday night when they are having an outdoor Shaggin%26#39; concert try to attend - and carrot tree sells pastries - not at all like anything in LV - much more calm, beachside by the river. loads of fun. then yorktown pub for our version of ';where the locals go'; for the past decades-defintely not fancy.

see a post i made recently about concert schedules.

Bridge, please read carefully - I MADE the call, the recording said the number had been disconnected. I checked the website, same number. Exactly what number did you expect me to try next? I asked if anyone knew if it was still open - got my answer.

no need to be careful - i%26#39;m pointing out that anyone can call either 411 for the number or the jamestown rd location and ask - you do not have to be a local to do this.

FWIW the website does have the current # at the bottom of this page, it is wrong in the middle of the page, they must to be busy making pretty fours! http://www.carrottreekitchens.com/inn.htm -
