I%26#39;ll be traveling to Williamsburg and was wondering if anyone has stayed at Kinds Creek Plantation (timeshare) and their experience there. Is it close to all the historical sites/ will I need a car to get around? What is the closest airport?
Lodging @ Kings Creek Plantation
I own a cottage at KCP and have also stayed in the Townes. Lodging is ample and comfortable. During the busy summer weeks I found the area near the Townes to be a bit busy, the Cottages are more private. Have not stayed in the Estates. It%26#39;s located next door to Water Country USA, about 5 minutes to Busch Gardens, and about 15 minutes to historical sights. You%26#39;ll definately need a car.

Coachbill,
Do you know how to contact kings creek plantation to inquire about a timeshare presentation with lodging special? I know some timeshares off this type of package. We are interested in touring kings creek.
Here is the phone number (757) 221-6760 and ask for the sales office that way you can get a timeshare tour and see if they happen to have any packages for you to stay there for a discounted rate and tour the grounds. It is near the Water Park, Presidents Park and a few mins from the Visitor Center and will need a car. The Estates are nice, the Townes are spacious and the Cottages look a little older, but also more private. I do not think you will be disappointed with any of the 3 types of lodging sections that they have. Take your bathing suit because they have an indoor swimming pool/jacuzzi and gym/sauna to use after your long day out. Full kitchens with dishwasher, fridge, toaster, blender and washer/dryer and to get to KMART or SuperWalmart which has also a grocery store in it is not far. Enjoy your trip.
