Hi all,
I looked back a few pages and didn%26#39;t really see an answer to this, so I thought I%26#39;d ask. My apologies if this is a duplicate of a similar thread somewhere.
Anyway, we%26#39;re planning a trip for sometime this summer to Williamsburg, probably just 2-3 days, during the week since it%26#39;s difficult for me to get weekends off. And we%26#39;re trying to decide which would be the better week. May 18th or the second week in July, after the 4th. I%26#39;m not truly fond of oppressive heat, so I would think May would be better for that reason alone. But I%26#39;m unsure what the crowds would be like in comparison to each other. We%26#39;re looking to do BG and Colonial Williamsburg, but only Yorktown and Jamestown with time permitting.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
July vs May for quick midweek trip
Off the top of my head, I%26#39;d say May, for better weather, and also because many schools in this area don%26#39;t let out until late May/early June. Most school class trips are finished up by mid-May, so not much of a crowd issue there, either.
July vs May for quick midweek trip
Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately I took a look at the BG%26#39;s website and it looks like it%26#39;s not open during the week until after Memorial Day. So I guess that makes the decision for me.
