What is the best of these two evening programs in Williamsburg, ';Cry Witch'; or ';Courage or Cowardice?';

Each is an interactive program. The audience listens to testimony and then has the opportunity to ask questions. They are both well worth attending, but I preferred the storyline of Courage or Cowardice.

Hi, Brayette -- I%26#39;m not sure you could call one or the other ';better';: neither employs professional actors, (drawing instead upon a variable roster of CW interpreters) and there is no stagecraft. The quality of the evening is to a degree determined by the quality of the crowd participation, and you just never know about that.

As RQT indicates, the subject matter may be the determining factor for you. These programs examine two very different aspects of 18th century life. ';Courage or Cowardice'; deals with military/political issues and ';Cry Witch'; examines attitudes towards women and the influence of religion on that.

Both are memorable!
