Several years ago we took our 8 year old granddaughter to Williamsburg and did the Apprentice Program which was a special half day program for children to learn about several trades with hands on activities. It was great! We are planning a trip for the next 8 year old granddaughter now and cannot find info on this or other similar programs. Does anyone know anything more about this?

Apprentice Program for kids?Another option can be found about 10-15 minutes from Colonial Williamsburg, at the Endview Plantation (www.endview.org). Your granddaughter is just the right age for the program. From their website:
