Has anybody recently stayed at the King%26#39;s creek Plantation? We will be going in November and I would like some recent feedback.

I stayed at Kings Creek Plantation in the Townes Cottages for one week 3/28-4/4/09 and loved it. It%26#39;S right next door to a water park, easy access off the freeway and about 2-3 miles from the Visitor Center where you can park your car and take the shuttles from. The Townes Cottages were very spacious 2bdrm/2bath/3TV%26#39;s full kitchen w/pots%26amp;pans and even a washer/dryer that 8 people could have slept there comfortably and even if you get a 1 bdrd it will be spacious (Townes cottages) the estates are a little newer and also look very spacious, the other regular cottages have an upstairs like a townhouse w/lot upstairs, for the most part it is in a convient location, has indoor/outdoor swimming pool, no daily housekeeping, so you have to empty your own trash daily, but they give you plenty of towels in the bathroom and also hairdrier you won%26#39;t be disappointed also free computer internet service in the small grocery store that you must sign up to use, the grocery store doesn%26#39;t have much to buy so I would recommend the superwalmart for any groceries which is just a few minutes away that has a full grocery store in it and not far either from Richmond Rd where there alot of resutrants %26amp; hotels on the street and even a KMART. The receptionist at the front counter at Kings Creek will have directions to getting to where you need to go. I would highly recommend Kings Creek Plantation. Go on their website and there pictures are just how the cottages are.

Thanks alot for the really great info. I am really looking foward to going in november. My huband and I are taking another couple and have a 2 br rented. did you eat at any good restaurants at C.W. and the surrounding area and did you take any ghost tours or anything else that you would recommend.
