Sundial Inn..any info on this place. Is it clean? Is the location good for young adults !8yo and 19yo) to get to Boardwalk and things to do? Thank you
Sundial Inn?
If you search for posts by MzReggae (in 2006), you%26#39;ll read a lot about this motel. She was on a strict budget and did her homework. She was satisfied with her stay at Sundial even though it had its problems. But she had the proper attitude: you get what you pay for, and with her budget, she didn%26#39;t expect the Ritz.
The hotel is not on the ocean - numbered streets run perpendicular to the ocean - but it%26#39;s close enough to walk to the Boardwalk.
Sundial Inn?
Well after reading all the reviews from the past 2 year.....can anyone suggest another hotel near the main Boardwalk area and beach? I am guessing somehere near 20th and 21st streets? They are college kids and do not want to spend too much money, but are also not willing to sacrifice cleanliness, safety, or location.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as I have never been to the area before. They just want a nice, clean place to stay for 3-5 days. They also want to be close to everything and within walking distance to entertainment on the Boardwalk, decent restaurants, shopping, and of course the beach.
Thank you
If I understand you correctly, you speak of ';they';...do you mean the 18 year old and the 19 year old would be the ones booking the room? If so, that%26#39;s an issue in VB. Just thought I%26#39;d ask before going further.
Yes %26#39;they%26#39; are the 18 and 19 y/os. Do you have to be 21 at all the hotels in order to book a room? Can I book it, and they check in? Thanks.
Some say ';age limit'; and list an age. On TA here I hear about no under 21 or no under 25. Do a word search using the little empty box atop these forum posts putting in the words under 21. You can search by relevance or date. Like one person said in one of those posts, you don%26#39;t want to run the risk of anything illegal if that%26#39;s the restriction of the hotel and then the teens getting kicked out.
I think someone suggested Angie%26#39;s. A nice area, near the beach. They have hostel accommodations as well as cottages.
I%26#39;ll see what else I can come up with.
Thanks. I think the kids have decided on the hostel. Great price, great location and all parents will feel better about their trip. I spoke with the owner/operator today and it sounds like a perfect place for the kids. One of the kids going is getting ready to do a Missions trip and is hoping to go into ministry and from speaking with the owner, it will nice for him to meet and chat with the employees/students from other countries while there.
My daughter has been away from me while at college this past year, but it is still hard to think of her traveling out of state, so to have them stay in a safe enviroment is important to me. Technically she is an adult now, but still my baby, y%26#39;know?!
Thanks to everyone for your help!
