Nauticus/Battleship Wisconsin

How much time should we realistically set aside to visit?

Also, what non-chain restaurant suggestions do you have for dinner afterwards. Moderately priced.

Nauticus/Battleship Wisconsin

I would allot 3 hours for the two.

For dinner, there are many options right in downtown Norfolk: Hell%26#39;s Kitchen (very dark and edgy but good food - check their website), Freemason Abbey (borders on pricey but excellent food and service), Sirena Cucina (Italian), Omar%26#39;s Carriage House, Bodega (tapas), Trilogy Bistro. You could drive a short way to the Ghent section of Norfolk: Fellini%26#39;s (Italian - they love the garlic but it%26#39;s oh so good), Bangkok Garden (Thai), No Frill Bar %26amp; Grill (one of my favs - never a disappointment), O%26#39;Sullivan%26#39;s Wharf (seafood), San Antonio Sam%26#39;s (steak and bbq type place), Kelly%26#39;s Tavern (great burgers). Lots of good places here. Good luck choosing!

Thanks...Kellys and No Frill look like what we are after. :)

Fellini%26#39;s looks good too. How far is that from the direction we need to be going in? We are headed to Duck NC after we leave Nauticus.

Fellini%26#39;s is about 3 miles from Nauticus. Do you need help with directions?

Sure! : )

When you leave Nauticus, turn left.

Turn left at Brambleton Ave.

Turn right onto Colley.

Fellini%26#39;s is on the right. If the parking lot is full, there is a parking lot across the street.

To get to the road to OBX:

Turn left out of Fellini%26#39;s onto Colley.

Turn left at W. 26th St.

Turn right onto Monticello (Rt. 460).

Turn left at Market St / Rt 460.

Take the ramp onto I-264 W.

Get in the right lane or you%26#39;ll head into the tunnel to Portsmouth. Bear right to I-464 S (signs for Chesapeake and I-464).

Follow signs for Nags Head / VA-168.

Have a good trip!
