WatercountryUSA

Planning on going on Friday, May 22. Any heads up on promotion codes that I could use. Also is it worth buying the meal vouchers on line? One extra question - Is the water temp actually warm or quite chilly given the early part of the season?

Not sure about the water temp, but the air is still chilly as you walk around in a wet suit. I do not believe the water is heated.

The temp though this weekend is suppose to be upper 70s-80%26#39;s but may still not be warm enough.

Hi 3gals!

I do not know of any current promotion codes, but if you are staying at a local hotel, it is possible they may sell the tickets at a discount- many of the local hotels do. The website is offering $2 off general parking if you purchase a parking pass online, but that%26#39;s just for the cost of parking, not a discount off the park pass itself.

You can save some money with the meal vouchers, but the down side is that if you don%26#39;t use them to the full, you don%26#39;t get the money back that you spent on them. If you do expect to use them to the full, with everything they include, given the general prices of the food there, you will save around $3-$4 per person. What is nice about them is that you won%26#39;t be carrying cash, and the vouchers will have your name on them so no one else would be able to use them if they got lost.

Also, the water temp is usually only slightly chilly on your first dip, it%26#39;s really not bad at all. They do keep the water heated until later in the season. You may get a little chilly though in a wet swimsuit if there is a breeze with the 80 degree temps that are expected.

Hope that helps!

Thank You. I am leaving in an hour down 95. I hope it works out well.
