I need a recommendation for a really nice restaurant in the Norfolk area. I would like to give my son and daughter in law a gift certificate for a dinner out for their anniversary. Any suggestions? Thanks.

My anniversary is in August if you%26#39;d like to give me one too. OK, so right IN Norfolk, Byrd %26amp; Baldwin is the ultimate la-de-da but it%26#39;s VERY pricey. I would recommend Todd Jurich%26#39;s Bistro (this would be a real treat -- it%26#39;s pricey too, but not like B%26amp;B), Freemason Abbey, 456 Fish, Sirena Cucina. Also nice are Fellini%26#39;s and No Frill Grill (these 2 they could probably afford on their own but it would still be a good gift, if you ask me).
It%26#39;s a short drive to Suffolk, but a gift certificate to Vintage Tavern would be VERY nice.
In Virginia Beach, you might consider One Fish-Two Fish, Steinhilbers (pricey), Tautogs.
In Chesapeake (Greenbrier area), there is a new restaurant called Passions that is absolutely wonderful.
All these have websites, so you might check them out. Good luck with deciding!

Thanks for the suggestions!
I will also always recommend the Grate Steak. The one on Military Highway in Norfolk. You can never go wrong with this place. It is superb.
yes, grate steak off military highway is awesome for you meat eaters
off colley ave and 21st there is a really good Indian restraunt, Rajput.
So many good restraunts in Norfolk! Off 21st there%26#39;s an amazing peruvian restaurant too. I can%26#39;t remember the name of it, but a Saturday night there with some awesome food, great drinks, and Salsa dancing would be really fun.
