Nice place for conference

I am planning our companys annual managers meeting. Can anyone give me suggestions or opinions on a place within 60 miles of the dc area

I have a friend who spent last long weekend with suc a group golfing at The Homestead. They loved it. It%26#39;s a famous resort so maybe the fact that it%26#39;s further than an hour will be ok with people.

Other ideas, but outside 60 miles

A place that would be PERFECT would be Wintergreen resort, but that place is about 3 hour drive from D.C west of Charlottesville up in the Blue Ridge.

Rocky Gap in Western Maryland-about 2 hours.
