Spring Hill question

Should we bring beach chairs, umbrella and towels? Doesn%26#39;t look like the hotel supplies them... Thanks!

Spring Hill question

There are chairs, umbrellas and towels available for use at their pool, but if you want chairs, umbrellas and towels for the beach, you will have to bring your own.

Spring Hill question

Yeah, it%26#39;s not like a resort that supplies everything. You need all your own beach stuff. But as far as chairs and umbrellas there are places on the sand to rent them or nearby shops to buy them. If you don%26#39;t have room in the car to take them home you can donate to the newest blanket of people when you leave or leave them by the trash can and they%26#39;ll be happily claimed.

One thing we have added to our list of things to take to the beach is a rubber mallet. We take our own umbrealla and the bottom half separates. After we do the digging and winding into the sand with pressure we hit it with the mallet and then attach the top part. We discovered a couple of years ago this really makes a difference, especially when it gets a little breezy and everyone%26#39;s umbrella is blowing away.

Take a cooler for snacks on the beach. The sand is very wide at that point...the football field size the artciles talk about. 300%26#39; from boardwalk to water, which makes for lots of empty space. Take your binoculars to see what%26#39;s swimming by [fish/mammal-wize is only appropriate:)] and the frieghters going off who knows where and the planes.

Take a kite for evening.

If you have several people on one shower getting ready for the evening, relax in the lobby at the full wall of glass overlooking the ocean while you zone out some more or check your lap top or watch the flat screen; or enjoy a little more sun at the pool and little cafe thingy. The pool is on a side lot so you get sun all day.

Need anything on evening activities?
